I'm a fully qualified massage therapist who joined the complimentary therapy world after a long career within pharmacy.
I qualified in Pharmaceutical Science (Drug delivery) at Degree level and have spent over twenty years within the community pharmacy industry. As my career developed within varying aspects of the industry I felt that the focus on the patient had been lost and became unhappy within my job.
Around four years ago I had a change of direction and started my own business. This initially offered rehabilitative care to a stroke survivor with severe mobility issues. I utilised massage techniques and prescribed movements to make them more comfortable on a day-to-day basis.
During my experience within this role I came to better understand the benefits of massage and have since gained significant experience and continued my professional development. I developed a particular interest in and experience of post surgery lymphatic drainage massage.
I have a Cabin which meets all the requirements to perform massage professionally, delivering a service to suit the individual client’s requirements.
